Recognizing Moc Chau National Tourist Area, Son La Province

(TITC) – On 22 April 2024, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung signed Decision No. 1077/QD-BVHTTDL on recognizing Moc Chau National Tourist Area, Son La Province.

Moc Chau National Tourist Area has a scale of 206,150 hectares located in two districts of Moc Chau and Van Ho.

Nearly 200 km from the center of Ha Noi to the west, about 4 hours by car, Moc Chau with mild weather, is one of the most attractive destinations in the Northern mountainous region, especially during the flowering seasons with peach, plum, apricot, cherry blossoms.

Bach Long glass bridge

Tourist attractions include pine forest in Ang village, Dai Yem waterfall, Happy land, walking street, Moc Chau night market, Moc Chau Island. In which, Moc Chau Island became a must-see destination, particularly since the Bach Long glass bridge, which is recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world’s longest glass‑bottomed pedestrian bridge, came into operation in 2022.

Moc Chau was voted World's Leading Regional Nature Destination 2022, 2023 by the World Travel Awards.
