France supports Quang Nam with heritage conservation

Update: 29/04/2024
Since May 2022, the Management Board of Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province) has received technical support from the French Institute, part of the French Embassy in Vietnam, through the "Share and protect Vietnam's heritage" project.

French Institute's representatives visit Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area.

The French Institute is supporting the Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area with two aspects: training courses for Vietnamese museum staffs and communication content for the Environmental Education and Communication Center in Cu Lao Cham Marine Protected Area.

The "Share and protect Vietnam's heritage" project facilitates collaboration between French and Vietnamese cultural entities to conserve and promote Vietnam's natural and cultural heritage.

It focuses on training training for museum staffs, building training programmes on museum-related professions for Vietnamese universities, and helping develop pilot projects on heritage conservation in three regions of Vietnam including Quang Nam province.
