Enjoying green experience in I-resort hot spring

Update: 12/07/2012
(TITC) - Located in Xuan Ngoc village, Vinh Ngoc commune, about 4km from Nha Trang city, I-resort hot spring is surrounded by imposing mountains and gentle Cai river. The resort was designed closely with nature and friendly with environment by using local materials as wood, stone, water coconut leaves…

In April 2012, the Vietnam Association of Architects has awarded Vietnam Green Architecture for 11 buildings including I-resort hot spring.

I-resort is considered a typical resort using local traditional materials. In initial designing ideas, I-resort has identified itself a green model aiming to satisfy tourists’ demand, protect environment and create jobs for local community.

The entrance of the resort is covered by colors of green grasses and pink lotus pond. The roofs of houses are thatched with leaves completely. Furthermore, the harmonious combination of bamboo, wood, stone, water and the advantage of natural light create a cool and environment-friendly space.

Responsible tourism is now a popular trend; therefore, the resort has welcomed a large number of tourists since getting Vietnam Green Architecture award.

Thanks to the implementation of green policy, I-resort has a high green coverage with about 80% of the area, like a purely and peaceful village. In addition, the resort has also created jobs for 200 local people, contributing to improving local livelihoods.
