Sufficient exploitation of natural resources in Tam Giang - Cau Hai Lagoon

On 3 June, Thua Thien - Hue province in collaboration with the Institute of Resources, Environment and Biotechnology- Hue University organized the workshop entitled "Community –based climate change adaptation in lagoons" on the occasion of the World Environment Day.
Reports and presentations have shared information and experiences on environmental protection and coping with climate change, raising awareness of people as well as agencies and businesses. It is necessary to raise the self-consciousness of sufficient and affordable use of natural resources, and environmental protection, proactive adaptation to climate change. At the workshop, participants also pointed out several measures to properly exploit resources in the lagoon, handling the environmental pollution, protecting water resources and biodiversity.
