Openbill storks land in Tram Chim park

Update: 20/08/2013
Over seven thousand Asian openbill storks have found a home at Tram Chim National Park in the Mekong Delta's Dong Thap Province, according to park Director Nguyen Van Hung.

The storks, which are rare and endangered species listed in Viet Nam's Red Data Book, are herding together in five zones around the park.

Tram Chim officials are making all efforts to protect this type of stork for further research and to improve biodiversity.
