According to news from the Center for Environmental Training and Communication, activities at nationallevel to respond to the World Environment Day on 05/6/2018 will be held in Binh Dinh province.

The spotlight of the event is a live broadcasting the launching ceremony of "National action month for environmental protection" combined with awarding the "Natural resources and environment press award" which will be taken place on June 4, 2018 in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province.
In this ceremony, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) will launch the "Action month for the environmental protection" nationwide and announce a series of activities of Ministries, sectors, localities, organizations and society.
It will also summarize achievements as well as existing issues of environmental protection during the year; announce and honors journalists and reporters who have made positive contributions to environmental and natural resources protection in 2016-2018 period.
Besides, there will be a forum on "Press with the rational use of resources, environmental protection and adaptation to climate change"; conference on program to coordinate for supervising the implementation of policies and legislation on resource exploitation, environmental protection and response to climate change in 2018 in Central region of Vietnam and the Central Highlands; organizing environmental classes for secondary school students; organizing the program of exchanging ecological batteries on 4 and 5th of April, 2018 in Quy Nhon city.
It is expected that there will be about 1,000 participants in this series of activities, including the leaders of the Government, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, MONRE, leaders of Binh Dinh Province, domestic and international environmental organizations, news agencies and community.
