Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve Management Board made public

On February 8th, the southern Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to make public the Management Board of Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve, led by Nguyen Thanh Tri, vice-chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.
The management board of 16 members will conduct research and propose solutions to the Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee regarding problems related to activities in the biosphere reserve.
In 2011, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) announced that the Cat Tien Biosphere Reserve was renamed the Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve.
The Dong Nai Biosphere Reserve is home to 11 ethnic groups and is a model for sustainable and harmonious development between human beings and nature./.
