Hundreds of farmers in HCM City's District 12 are busy at their flower farms preparing for the lunar new year
Tet is only some ten days away and the best daisies, sunflowers and carnations in Thoi An Ward are ready to be transported to the city’s flower markets.
The farms are becoming more crowded these days as more traders arrive to buy flowers.
According to some farmers, the unfavourable weather has destroyed many daisy farms and so flower prices this Tet will increase by 10-20% against last year.
At one of a few daisy farms in Thoi An Ward, farmer Huynh Ngoc Bich said she had some 20 years of experience in planting the flowers so she still has over 20,000 pot of daisies for sale.
