The Ho Chi Minh City Fine Art Association launched an online exhibition themed ‘Sac Mau Binh Yen’ (Peaceful Colours) on September 20.
Ho Chi Minh City Fine Art Association hosts first ever online exhibition.
The event, the first of its kind to be held by the association, is displaying 103 paintings and sculptures by 63 artists.
Works on display not only feature the artists’ love for the motherland but also honour the great service and contributions of medical workers, volunteers, the army, public forces, and frontline staff in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The exhibits also show gratitude for the kindness and support of individuals and collectives for disadvantaged people amidst COVID-19.
The exhibition aims to bring the arts closer to the public and uphold a positive and optimistic attitude in order to help overcome all the difficulties caused by the pandemic.
It is also designed to promote artists’ creativity and encourage them to produce more artwork during the social distancing period.
The exhibition will run until October 20 on the Facebook’s fanpage of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Art Association at https://www.facebook.com/hmtqe/.
