VNAT and Indian Embassy in Vietnam exchanged tourism cooperation

(TITC) - On 3th November, Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism had meeting with Ms. Mini Kuman, Secretary of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam on tourism cooperation in 2022 and the following years.

In order to implement the tourism cooperation between the two sides, the Indian Embassy in Vietnam has developed a tourism cooperation plan in the coming time, which focuses in 2022, the year of 50th anniversary of establishing India and Vietnam diplomatic relations.

Accordingly, the Indian Embassy will organize a series of cultural and tourism events in Da Nang and Nha Trang, including a Yoga Day and farmtrips to survey the tourism potential of the two countries. Through these events, India wishes to introduce the potential of Buddhist tourism and medical tourism to Vietnamese tourists.

Ms. Mini Kuman also proposed VNAT and Vietnam tourist companies to attend an online webinar on Buddhist Circuit tourism in India, taking place on 8th November.

Agreeing to attend the webinar, Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu also suggested that the two sides consider coorganize a seminar on hatha cuisine as well as opening classes on hatha food by chefs from India and Vietnamese Chefs Association teaches.
