The 110 bamboo and rattan handicraft products on display were made by the skilful hands of 16 outstanding artisans in the city’s handicraft sector.
Visitors to the exhibition can learn about the history and production process of the bamboo and rattan crafts.
The ten-day event aims to provide a venue for participating artisans to learn and share experience with each other while joining trade promotional activities to advertise their products and seek new business deals.
It seeks to help enterprises and trade villages improve their capacity and competitiveness in producing and trading their products to meet the increasing demand of the domestic and exports markets.
It is among a series of exhibitions and trade fairs being hosted the Hanoi Municipal Department of Industry and Trade to preserve and promote the value of the city’s traditional handicraft products to consumers and support the development of craft villages in the city.
