Tours to discover Son Doong Cave fully booked through 2022

(TITC) - According to Quang Binh Provincial Department of Tourism and Oxalis Adventure Co., 1,000 slots for adventure tour to discover Son Dong - the world’s largest cave in the central province of Quang Binh have been fully booked for 2022. Roughly 100 first slots for 2023 also were registered, 80% of whom are foreigners.

Other products of Oxalis Adventure including exploration of Rao Thuong - En Cave, Va, Nuoc Nut, Tu Lan and Tien caves have also attracted a large number of tourists who book the tours for the upcoming Lunar New Year holidays and summer holidays.

Particularly, Chay Lap farmstay is also interested by customers and the booking rate during the Lunar New Year and the weekend from now until the summer is over 90%.

Other adventure tourism products, natural eco-tourism attractions in Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Dong Chau – Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve, Ngan Thuy and Truong Xuan areas are also known through digital platforms and many reservations have made.

Currently, there are 4-5 round-trip flights from Dong Hoi City to Ho Chi Minh City every day and 02 round-trip flights from Dong Hoi to Ha Noi.

Located in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park, Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province, Hang Son Doong (Son Doong Cave) was surveyed by a team of the British Cave Research Association (BRCA) led by Mr. Howard Limbert in 2009. The expedition team then announced as the world's largest natural cave with a volume of 38.5 million m³.
