Binh Dinh Province: Tourism industry discusses plans to welcome international tourists

(TITC) - On January 13th, Binh Dinh Province Department of Tourism held a meeting to discuss the preparation plan to welcome international tourists following the pilot plan to welcome international tourists to Binh Dinh Province.

According to the appointment of Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, approving Binh Dinh Province to be piloted to welcome international tourists in phase 2 (from January 2022), the province tourism industry has drafted out an implementation plan for this pilot plan. Accordingly, the area to welcome international tourists on Phuong Mai peninsula includes Nhon Ly, Nhon Hai, Nhon Hoi Communces, and Nhon Chau island Commune (in Quy Nhon City) and Cat Tien Town (Phu Cat District). Besides, international tourists can pay a visit to Quy Nhon City Centre upon the ‘city tour’ form by tourist vehicles according to the approved plan.

In phase 1 (from January to March 2022) piloting to welcome international tourists to FLC Quy Nhon Golf & Resort; in phase 2 (form April 2022) will implement for accommodation establishments in the pilot area to welcome international tourists and international travel businesses that are eligible as prescribed. The international tourists market in countries in Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Russia, the US and some European countries have signed a bilateral agreement with Vietnam, approved by the Ministry of Health and other authorities through the package tour programme organised by tour operators by charter flights. Requiring international tourists when entering Vietnam to follow the regulations on entry and exit and take measures to ensure safety prevention and control the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Director of the Department of Tourism Mr. Tran Van Thanh: the Department is putting all the effort into completing the implementation plan for the piloting to submit to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval promptly.
