Themed ‘Ca Mau – A destination for 2022’, the programme includes the Song Doc Nghinh Ong Festival (also known as the Whale Worshiping Festival), the Southern Traditional Cake Festival, a flag raising ceremony, and a cuisine festival.
A marathon race, business meetings, and activities to advertise local products that meet standards of the ‘One Commune-One Product’ (OCOP) programme will also be held within the framework of the programme.
The programme will be organised throughout the year across the province, particularly in popular tourist sites such as Ca Mau Cape, U Minh Ha National Park, and Thoi Binh Town.
The programme aims to promote the land and people of the southernmost province to visitors while creating chances for businesses to seek trade opportunities, thus contributing to attracting further investment to the locality while boosting local socio-economic and tourism development.
