Promoting Vietnam’s tourism, culture in Iran

Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran Luong Quoc Huy recently had a meeting with Abbas Heidani, CEO of Milad Tower Company in Tehran capital, on the possibility of promoting Vietnam’s tourism potential in the capital.

Milad Tower, a multi-purpose tower in Tehran, stands at 435 meters from the base to the tip of the antenna. It is part of the International Trade and Convention Center of Tehran, which also includes a five-star hotel, a convention center, a world trade center and an IT park.

The tower is the place where many major cultural and art performances take place. Every day tens of thousands of visitors come to visit and shop at the tower.

At the working session, the two sides agreed to cooperate closely in implementing activities to promote culture and tourism between Vietnam and Iran in 2022 in the lead up to 50 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Iran in 2023.
