Bach Long Glass Bridge to be open in Moc Chau, Son La Province

(TITC) - A pedestrian glass bridge named Bach Long (White Dragon) will be open on the April 30 in Muong Sang Commune, Moc Chau District, Son La Province. With a total length of 632m, it is expected to the longest one in the world, according to VOV.

Mr. Hoang Manh Duy, a representative of Moc Chau Island, said that the Bach Long Glass Bridge was built across two mountains with a length of 290m and the craggy part on the cliff is 342m long. The width of the main bridge deck is 2.4m and the width of the glass road on the cliff is 1.5m. The bridge connects to Chim Than Cave (or God Bird Cave) where owns natural stalactites associated with the legend of the god bird according to local residents for hundreds of years.

The bridge has two 30m-high towers and using Korean bearing cables. The bridge deck system is made of super tempered glass Saint gobain of France, including 3 layers of thick glass. The height of the bridge deck to the ground is 150m.

He also informed that to ensure safety, this bridge will go one way, with a maximum limit of about 500 people on the bridge at a time.

Besides, the high-class tourist, entertainment, accommodation complex at Moc Chau Island has also been constructing and completing the following items: Zipline, Coaster slide, lawn slide, indoor and outdoor children's play area, souvenir area, glass bottom infinity pool, hotel, villas on the mountainside, campsite, bamboo restaurant and event square.

Moc Chau Tourist Area is one of the tourist attraction sites in the Northwest of Vietnam. From the end of this April, this beautiful plateau will be known more when the world's longest pedestrian glass bridge officially put into operation.
