This year’s festival is set to be divided into six areas featuring different topics in order to introduce Hanoi’s wide range of traditional cuisine and craft villages.
The culinary section will showcase some outstanding delicacies from the capital, including Hanoi Pho, Thanh Tri steamed roll rice pancakes, Hanoi rice vermicelli noodles with chicken, eggs, and pork, Vong and Me Tri green rice flakes, Phu Thuong sticky rice, egg coffee, and Uoc Le pork pies.
The area for craft village tourism has been set aside to introduce famous local crafts, such as pottery, rattan bamboo handicraft, embroidery, silk brocade, folk pictures, sculpture, and bronze casting.
The organising board hopes that the event will help both domestic and foreign tourists gain deeper insights into the value of Hanoi cuisine and traditional craft villages, as well as promoting local tourism potential.
