Bac Kan: Ba Be Tourism - Cultural Heritage Week 2022 takes place at the beginning of June 2022

(TITC) - Bac Kan Provincial People’s Committee is planning to organise the “Ba Be Tourism - Cultural Heritage Week 2022” associated with the announcement ceremony of the national intangible cultural heritage of Bac Kan Province.

Accordingly, the “Ba Be Tourism - Cultural Heritage Week 2022” includes cultural, sports and tourism activities to promote and stimulate Bac Kan tourism as a "Safe, friendly and attractive destination". The event is expected to take place from 3rd to 6th June 2022 at the Ba Be lake tourist area.

Within the framework of the Week, there are significant activities such as: The opening ceremony of "Ba Be Tourism - Cultural Heritage Week 2022" associated with the announcement ceremony of the national intangible cultural heritage "Bat Dance" of the Tay people in Bac Kan and the "Grading Ceremony" of the Dao Tien people of Don Phong Commune, Bach Thong District; The 1st Then singing - Tinh lute festival of the Tay - Nung ethnic groups in Bac Kan Province in 2022; Performances of Costumes of ethnic minorities in Bac Kan Province and the national intangible cultural heritage of Bac Kan Province in 2022; Conference on promoting Ba Be tourism; Food Festival of ethnic minorities in Bac Kan associated with the display and introduction of agricultural products OCOP Bac Kan - Ba Be, etc.

Besides, there are a wide range of responsive activities such as Camp of youth unions of communes and townships of Ba Be District; Painting competition to protect the environment in Ba Be tourist area, etc.

Additionally, during the Week, essential tasks such as reception, logistics, food hygiene and safety, prevention of Covid-19 pandemic, fire and explosion prevention, security and order, traffic safety… are carefully set up.

Mr. Pham Duy Hung, Vice Chairman of the Bac Kan Provincial People’s Committee emphasised that the Ba Be Tourism - Cultural Heritage Week is the pioneer event organised in the aim of resuming tourism activities in the local, and towards building and organising Bac Kan Tourism Week to become an annual traditional event to create an attractive highlight and attract tourists to Bac Kan.
