According to Traveller, Islands are one of the “beautiful getaway” destinations to escape for relaxation and stay-out of the bustling urban cities. Whether the aim to come to islands for a holiday is because of cultures, water sports or being in love of the sun-kissed sands and sapphire seas, people still go for the same reason: to get away, and find somewhere special and set apart.

The magazine has named Phu Quoc Island as the Lovers’ Island, a beautiful meaning for a romantic place not just for couples but also for dreamy souls. Traveller stated, Phu Quoc owns everything for the honeymoon mood at half the price: luxury resort hotels and spas, great seafood restaurants and chic cocktail bars, shimmering reefs and castaway islets. A land rich in primaeval forests, pristine poetic beaches, boasts a mild climate and natural beauty.

October - March is the dry season and the best time to visit Phu Quoc. Sunset-perfect Long Beach and white sandy, emerald waters Khem Beach, Sao (Star) Beach and hillside Ho Quoc Pagoda are recommended spots for couples to pop the question at sunrise or under moonlight.

Since Vietnam has fully opened its tourism internationally, visitors can fly to Phu Quoc from several international airports and domestic destinations of Vietnam.
