The project Hue - The Urban of Plastic Reduction in Vietnam Central Region, World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF-Vietnam) has just launched the photo contest called “Plastic Heroes” taking place from September 9 to 23, 2022 to all of the people, organizations, and enterprises nationwide.
The registered photos can tell significant stories in the work of collecting, recycling, and revoking plastic waste
Plastic pollution is one of the issues of concern in Vietnam, and it is bearing the implicit impacts on nature and people health. The photo contest “Plastic Heroes” is a playground for the community of environment-loving people to be free in sharing meaningful stories related to changing plastic use behavior and raising people awareness in classifying solid waste at source and reducing plastic waste.
Furthermore, this contest is also a chance for those in love with photography and desires to spread the positive photos and messages on environment and plastic waste reduction through inspirational photos. Through this activity, the contest wants to widely spread the positive influence and responsibility in plastic waste reduction and waste classification at source to all of the society.
Typical characters in anti-plastic movement and plastic waste collection and recycling can be the beautiful images to join the photo contest “Plastic Heroes”
The contestants will take photos to tell significant stories about individuals directly or indirectly participating in the work of collecting, recycling, reusing, and revoking plastic waste; carrying out the green lifestyle or good habits in solid domestic waste classification.
Contestants are individuals at all ages, organizations and businesses in Vietnam. The time of receiving and voting for entries is from September 9, 2022 to 12:00 September 23, 2022.
