The Thua Thien Hue Tourism Promotion Information Center has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Museum to conduct surveys on routes and spots to build a tour “Following Uncle Ho’s footsteps in his youth in Hue”.

The delegation, including travel agencies and tourism businesses in Thua Thieu Hue, surveyed 9 relics belonging to the system of President Ho Chi Minh’s souvenir relics in Thua Thien Hue with some nearby attractions such as the Museum of Porcelain signed in the Nguyen Dynasty, the museum of General Nguyen Chi Thanh, cultural addresses, and craft villages.
In Thua Thien Hue, there are about 20 monuments and relic sites about Uncle Ho or directly related to Uncle Ho’s family. In which, there are 4 relics ranked by the State as special national historical - cultural relics, and 5 monuments and sites ranked at provincial level.
In addition to the relic system, the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue is a place to display more than 1,000 documents and artifacts related to the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, and preserves over 18,500 documents and artifacts, including many valuable original artifacts.
Ms. Le Thuy Chi, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue, said that the museum and system of monuments commemorating President Ho Chi Minh in Hue meet the requirements of tourism development with the following criteria: profound historical and cultural value; rich and diverse destination image; convenient traffic infrastructure; and good human resources./.
