On November 11, the People's Committee of Tinh Bien District and the Management Board of Oc Eo Relic signed the coordination plan to manage, protect, and promote the value of Oc Eo Cultural Relic in the community from 2022 to 2030.

According to the Inventory List in Provincial People's Committee Decision 2252/QD-UBND dated September 23, 2020, the province of An Giang contains 84 works and sites of archaeological relics of the Oc Eo Culture that meet the criteria specified in Article 28 of the Law on Cultural Heritage and Clause 9 of Article 1 of the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Cultural Heritage. In which, Chau Doc city has four locations, Tan Chau town has five locations, An Phu district has six locations, Chau Phu has three locations, Chau Thanh has four locations, Cho Moi has one location, Phu Tan has four locations, Tri Ton has eleven locations, Thoai Son has 34 locations, and Tinh Bien district has fourteen locations.
During the signing ceremony, the two parties agreed to coordinate the management, preservation, protection of safety, and promotion of the value of Oc Eo relics and cultural relics in the Tinh Bien district in accordance with the Committee's rules and regulations of the People's Committee of An Giang province; Each party assigns expertise to organize propaganda and dissemination of specialized laws on Oc Eo culture in various forms for officials and residents in the district t. All activities of relevant organizations and individuals within the scope of the relic must be managed, preserved, and safeguarded in accordance with provincial law and policy.
The coordination process must make sure that each party is doing what they're supposed to be doing and following the rules they've been given. This is to avoid overlapping and pushing each other's responsibilities when dealing with problems; quickly direct or assign specialists to deal with coordination-related problems... As a result, coordinating the protection of the Oc Eo Cultural Relic in Tinh Bien district in particular, as well as the management, protection, and promotion of the value of cultural heritage in the province of An Giang, contributes to the effective implementation of the Law on Cultural Heritage.
