With the potential and advantages of tourism, over the past time, Thanh Thuy district has paid attention to building and diversifying tourism products, improving service quality, having many solutions to attract and develop tourism, contributing to turning tourism into a spearhead economic sector of the district.
In 2022, the number of tourists to Thanh Thuy is estimated at 350,000, tourism revenue is estimated at VND 280 billion, an increase of 255% over the same period. High-quality tourism products associated with the district"s tourism branding have attracted a lot of concern and investment by many businesses.
The district encourages and supports businesses to invest in building resort and health care products on the basis of exploiting rare and precious hot mineral water resources in combination with creating ecological landscapes. Currently, in the area, there are eight units operating effectively in resort tourism, entertainment and ecotourism services. At the same time, the district has well implemented the work of preserving and promoting the values and characteristics of a number of festivals, traditional rites, legends of the Hung King period, culture, cuisine, etc. associated with typical monuments and cultural points. Since then, exploiting and building unique cultural tourism products, forming cultural tourist attractions to serve visitors coming for experience. Spiritual tourism products are currently being exploited well, such as Lang Suong Temple, which is an attractive destination to many tourist groups. The district also organizes surveys in communes and towns that have strengths in producing safe agricultural and rural products, associated with craft villages according to the model of one commune one product, and goods production according to OCOP standards. Up to now, the whole district has 11 products that have achieved OCOP standards at provincial level, which have the potential to develop into tourism products and serve tourism such as: Bo village soy sauce, tea products of Maika Food Co., Ltd., forest honey, Bambamboo hotel bathroom set. In order to promote and develop products, the district surveys and builds places to display, introduce and sell typical products, OCOP products, typical rural industrial products of the district and province in five key tourist sites and spots in the district, serving the shopping needs of tourists.
In the coming time, the district will continue to attract capable businesses to invest in building high-class entertainment areas and develop eco-tourism in order to diversify and increase the attractiveness of tourism products. At the same time improve the quality of resort tourism products; building and developing typical tourism products at a number of cultural tourist attractions, craft village tourism, experiencing agricultural activities to build tours - routes connecting tourist attractions in the district.
