(TITC) TatsteAtlas, a Bulgarian experiential travel guide for traditional food listed out their 10 most popular Southeast Asian noodle dishes, where Vietnam presents 3 dishes in it.
My Quang (Quang Noodle Bowl):
It is a simple dish of rice noodles but is a must-try delight. This Vietnamese classic is usually topped with pork or chicken, shrimp, quail eggs, peanuts and fresh herbs. A warm hearty Quang noodle bowl is full of flavour of meat broth and crispy fresh vegetables, and ready to be dug in.
You can find My Quang in Central Vietnam, more precisely in Quang Nam Province, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and throughout Vietnam.
Bun Cha
It became famous worldwide after the visit of former President of America Barack Obama in 2016. Bun Cha is a bowl of grilled pork meatballs served in a cold broth, rice noodles served aside to dip in. Fresh greens always accompany to add more flavour.
Ha Noi is the home sweet home of Bun Cha, visitors can find this sweet and sour dish across the northern part of Vietnam. Having a “cheap moment” with President Obama via this dish, why not.
Pho/Beef Pho (Pho Bo)
Standing tall and proudly in first place is none other than the iconic, the soup-of-the soul dish of Vietnam, Pho. The rich flavour of broth, an artistic combination of herbs, rice noodles, and broth, creating a bowl of pure magic. Visitors can find this dish across the country but to taste the original flavour, Ha Noi is the hub to offer it. “Skillful” foodies will know that Pho in Saigon typically has a richer taste and often comes with a range of hot and sweet condiments as well as a variety of leafy green herbs.
