(TITC) - According to Vietnam Airlines, in March and April this year, the airline will operate 5 flights connecting between Vietnam and China, adding to the restoration of 9 over 10 flight routes to China as before the pandemic outbreak.
Thereby, from March 2023, Vietnam Airlines will reconnect the flight route from Ha Noi and Beijing with the frequency of 3 flights per week. At the same time, the airline increases the frequency of flights connecting Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City with Guangzhou and Shanghai – each route will be operated by Vietnam Airlines with 4 flights a week, compared to the current schedule of 1-2 flights per week on these routes.
From April 2023, Vietnam Airlines will operate 4 flight routes between Da Nang and Guangzhou, Shanghai, Chengdu; between Ha Noi and Chengdu with a frequency of 2 flights a week on each route.
Besides, from September 2023, Vietnam Airlines is planning to put the Airbus A350 wide body and Boeing 787 to operation on the routes between Ha Noi and Beijing; between Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City and Shanghai.
In 2019, Vietnam Airlines served 8.1 million passengers flown between China and Vietnam, accounting for 19% of the total number of passengers and is in the top 3 markets with the largest number of passengers.
