Xuan Son National Park (Tan Son district, Phu Tho province) is not only recognized as a community tourist destination, “green tourism” with pure beauty and fresh air, but it is also the major location of a famous movie aired on VTV3 in the late 2022.
The film"s scene was shot at the Quynh Nga homestay .
The film's director picked Quynh Nga guesthouse, Du hamlet, Xuan Son commune as the location for filming. Quynh Nga homestay also altered the name of their homestay to ”Tho Ngoc homestay“ to reflect the setting of the film and the director's request, as the public still saw in certain moments when the film was shown.
During the course of a month, the film team of almost 40 persons shot several sequences.
The film not only makes the audience laugh with its hilarious and light content, but it also leaves an indelible impression with its captivating settings in the quiet countryside and strong cultural beauty typical of the region. The film crew had almost a month to “plug the village” here and film the sequences. Xuan Son, located in the National Park's core region, not only contains various sights of mountains, woods, natural springs, and virgin caverns, but it is also a site to conserve the traditional cultural values of the Dao and Muong ethnic minority. As a result, commonplace imagery may emerge in the sceneries.
“Before picking Xuan Son as the backdrop in the film, the film team also had multiple rounds of evaluating the topography, roads, sceneries, and elements other amenities,” said Ms. Ha Thi Hien, Vice Chairperson of the Commune People's Committee. ”The commune administration also aims to have more times when Xuan Son is transmitted on TV series, this is also an opportunity to promote and expose Phu Tho tourism in general and Xuan Son community tourism in particular to visitors, local and foreign consumers".
The video has many stunning scenes of mountains, woods, and environment at Xuan Son National Park.
It can be said that the ancestral land, which has many appealing factors in the “sight” of filmmakers, becoming a destination for film crews will attract more tourists to the province, help cinema and tourism have a closer connection, along with cinematic activities and filmed footage will contribute to promoting tourism in the province with new and interesting discoveries and experiences.
