Salt water intrusion threatens tourist areas

Five tourism developments on Cua Dai Beach in central Quang Nam Province's Hoi An City are under threat from salt water encroachment, according to the city People's Committee.

The committee has recommended that the construction of a Hoi An Tourist Service Joint Stock Company development is halted and has advised other developers to build embankments to protect their projects.
