(TITC) - On 7th March (Germany time zone), in Berlin, Vietnam tourism delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) to organise the Opening Ceremony for the Vietnam tourism booth, officially entered the series of activities at the International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin 2023.

ITB Berlin is the biggest international tourism fair in the world. Every year, the fair attracts the participation of more than 10 thousand exhibitors (including destinations, corporations, travel agencies, developing reservations systems, airlines, hotels/resorts and other services related to tourism) from nearly 190 countries and territories around the world to introduce and promote destinations, products and services.

With an area of 450m2, Vietnam tourism booth is designed in an open space with a highlight of 3 impressive models, the Khue Van Cac, or the Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature (The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Ha Noi), Cau Bridge (Hoi An), Ben Thanh Market (Ho Chi Minh City) are the 3 famous tourist spots carrying the most iconic images, representing for the 3 regions of Vietnam; Along with several images to promote different types of attractive tourism products of Vietnam such as high-class wellness, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, health care tourism, cuisine, etc.
At the ITB 2023, Vietnam tourism will strongly promote the “Live Fully in Vietnam” message, simultaneously, introducing the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 in Binh Thuan “Green Tourism comes together” to worldwide friends and partners, affirming the orientation of green and sustainable tourism development of Vietnam.
Addressing at the Opening Ceremony, VNAT’s Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh said, Vietnam tourism booth includes representatives from 43 travel businesses, aviation, hotels, 2 localities - Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Thuan Province - the host of the Visit Vietnam Year 2023 and a number of businesses. The tourism destinations and products of Vietnam introduced at the ITB Berlin 2023 are fresh, attractive and fit to the international market, especially European visitors, those who are looking for sustainable and meaningful travel experience post Covid-19 pandemic.
Vietnam is ready to welcome international visitors to experience a lively Vietnam, with the beautiful natural landscape, the beaches are full of sunshine, the culture is rich in identity and scrumptious cuisine.
