Impressive Vietnam tourism at ITB Berlin 2023

(TITC) - After a 3-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Vietnam is officially back to ITB Berlin 2023 with a tourism booth and large business participants. A huge effort has been made by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST), Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Vietnam Tourism Development Fund (VTDF), localities and businesses to leverage the position of Vietnam tourism in the international market.

Vietnam tourism booth is set up in a large scale

Vietnam tourism delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Trung Khanh, Chairman of VNAT, along with representatives from 43 tourism businesses and localities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Thuan and Ninh Binh provinces.

With an area of 450m², Vietnam tourism booth is designed in an open space with a highlight of 3 impressive models, the Khue Van Cac, or the Pavilion of the Constellation of Literature (The Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, Ha Noi), Cau Bridge (Hoi An), Ben Thanh Market (Ho Chi Minh City) are the 3 famous tourist spots carrying the most iconic images, representing for the 3 regions of Vietnam; Along with several images to promote different types of attractive tourism products of Vietnam such as high-class wellness tourism, eco-tourism, adventure tourism, health care tourism, cuisine, etc.

Mr. Vu Quang Minh, Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany expressed his impression with the huge amount of participants from companies, travel businesses and localities with typical scenic spots at ITB 2023. Vietnam tourism booth this year is outstanding and attracts many international visitors as well as partners, especially impressive with the symbolic works and art performances imbued with national identity.

Showing the pride to Vietnam tourism, Ambassador Vu Quang Minh hopes that 2023 will be an wide open door, a new chapter for the development of the tourism industry, which is an important contributor to the socio-economic development of Vietnam. The great interest of international and European visitors in general as well as German people in particular towards Vietnam in business meetings is a well proves for a successful year.

VNAT’s Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh addressed at the Opening Ceremony of the Vietnam tourism booth that Vietnam is ready to welcome again visitors all around the world to live fully in Vietnam, to explore and enjoy beautiful natural landscape, sunny beaches, rich culture and tasty cuisine. Vietnam has been working closely with airlines to create favourable conditions for visitors to Vietnam, strengthening cooperation with tourism trade partners and the media to bring the beautiful image of Vietnam closer to international friends, especially the European market.
