(TITC) - In some days, Yen Tu Landscape and Relic Site (Quang Ninh Province) has welcomed 3-4 famtrip groups to visit and learn this tourist destination. Yen Tu becomes famous among visitors nowadays while “healing tourism” is a trend and a fascinating way to experience tranquility.

According to Mr. Le Trong Thanh - Deputy Director of Tung Lam Development Joint Stock Company - owner of Yen Tu cable car system and 5-star Legacy Yen Tu Resort, from the beginning of 2023 until now, there are around dozens of foreign famtrip groups, mainly from Korea, China, and Taiwan (China), came to Yen Tu to learn and develop tour packages for visitors.
Most recently, in one day, Yen Tu welcomed and worked with 3 large fam trip groups of Korea, China..., with dozens of representatives of travel and tourism companies in each group.
The parties are in negotiation and discussion in terms of prices and ways of cooperation, yet these are good signs post the COVID-19 pandemic, said Mr. Le Trong Thanh. International visitors back to Yen Tu have increased gradually, most of which are Korean visitors. In March only, Yen Tu welcomed 6,000 Korean visitor arrivals, about 30% compared to the period before COVID-19 appeared.
Before the pandemic outbreak, Korean visitors accounted for a large proportion of international visitors to Yen Tu, with about 250,000 visitor arrivals/year, equivalent to more than 20,000 visitor arrivals/month.
Currently, it is not the peak season, but on weekends, the occupancy rate is always 70-80%. In the high season, visitors often have to book in advance every month.
According to international fam trips, Yen Tu is well suited for the demands of their high-class customers.
