(TITC) – On 29th April 2023, Bamboo Airways organized the Launching ceremony new flight route connecting Ha Noi Capital and Ca Mau Province - the southernmost point of Vietnam.
The new route will use Embraer 190 jet, frequency of 3 roundtrip flights/week, take off at 6:55 am from Ha Noi and 9:55 am from Ca Mau on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Passengers take just over 2 hours to travel from Ha Noi to Ca Mau and vice versa.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet - Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the operation of the direct route Ha Noi - Ca Mau and vice versa is a big event, with great significance. The Ha Noi - Ca Mau flight not only shortens the geographical distance but also creates an emotional connection between Ca Mau and Ha Noi capital as well as the northern provinces.
On same day, flight QH1281 of Bamboo Airways, departing from Noi Bai International Airport - Ha Noi and landing at Ca Mau Airport, brought 95 passengers from Ha Noi to Ca Mau and 75 guests from Ca Mau to Ha Noi.
The new route is expected to contribute to increase regional linkages, promote socio-economic development of Ca Mau Province, and especially attracting tourists to experience unique tourism products of province.
