(TITC) - UK’s Travel Magazine Condé Nast Traveler posted its top 50 Most Beautiful Small Towns in the World, including Sa Pa of Vietnam.
Sa Pa, a mountainous region lies in northern Vietnam, about 350 km from Ha Noi, is popular with 38,000 people and most are ethnic minority groups. It is well-known for its untouched nature, rice terraces and high mountains. The people here sell their crops and brightly coloured weavings for living expenses.
Far from famous beaches, major cities and World Heritage sites, Sa Pa is a calming but charming town with mountains, hidden waterfalls and endless untouched nature. There is more to explore in this heaven on earth, such as Ham Rong Mountain, Fansipan Peak – the highest in Vietnam, Muong Hoa Valley, Seo My Ty Lake, O Quy Ho Pass, Bac (Silver) Waterfall, Love Waterfall…

This small town dresses in mist, bringing a quite chilly and relaxed vibe. Why not take a slow walk around the town, enjoy the daily life of local people, pass by the church, the market to shop for souvenirs and have a good taste of its unique cuisine.
