A programme to introduce ‘Made-in-Quang Nam’ typical agricultural and so-called One Commune-One Product (OCOP) products is being held at the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge in Son Tra District until May 14.

Hosted by the Quang Nam Province People’s Committee, the programme features more than 300 typical agricultural and OCOP products of 18 districts, towns and cities across the province.
This is the second time the programme has been organised in Da Nang. Its purpose is to boost trade promotion, and conduct surveys on setting up consumption points for ‘Made-in-Quang Nam’ typical agricultural and OCOP products in some big cities and provinces.
Also, the event significantly contributes to promote the trade connection between suppliers of agricultural, OCOP and tourism products in Quang Nam Province with consumers and businesses at both home and abroad.
Besides, it supports promotion, stimulates demand, creates added value, builds brands for OCOP products, and develops tourism in Quang Nam Province in an effective and sustainable manner.
Till date, Quang Nam Province has 333 OCOP products of 260 subjects, of which 126 are business households, 90 cooperatives and enterprises, and 44 cooperative groups.
The province's OCOP certified products are not only consumed locally but also wins the trust of consumers nationwide. They are widely distributed in supermarket chains and organic food stores, thereby promoting the development of the rural economy.
