Activities aimed at responding to the World Environment Day (June 5) took place in Hoi An city and Tay Giang district (Quang Nam province).

At the meeting in Hoi An city, a programme themed ‘Solutions to Plastic Pollution’ was launched with the participation of most of the local residents, agencies and services.
It is estimated that approximately 19-23 million tons of plastic waste is annually released into the environment, which is harmful to human health all over the world.
