(TITC) - The UK’s based travel magazine Explore! recently posted its list of this year’s trending destinations for solo travellers. The cities of Vietnam, Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City are named in Top 20 Trending Cities Worldwide for Solo Travel and Top 10 Locations for Solo Travel in Asia. All the results are based on the interest increase of 12-month Google solo travel searches.
According to Explore!, solo travellers usually make up around half of its average tour group. With the development of social media networks, platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube Short, TikTok, etc., single travellers sharing their escapades all over the world, drawing many people going online for solo travel inspiration.
By sharing each and every moment of travelling, places around the world are gaining popularity for solo travellers in 2023.
Ha Noi
Getting a 946% interest increase, based on 12-month Google solo travel searches, Ha Noi - the capital city of Vietnam placed no.1 in the list of Top 20 Trending Cities Worldwide for Solo Travel. Explore! stated that Ha Noi is the ancient and vibrant city where solo travellers can dive into the colourful busy streets of the Old Quarter, crossing roads side by side with the locals in a maze of narrow streets filled with shoppers, traders, cafes and restaurants.
