Accordingly, all operations and check-in processes have bilingual content, displayed on the touch screen, bringing high convenience and ease of use to visitors.
To check-in by themselves, at these kiosks, visitors click to select the airline and language, then scan their passport or passenger codes, the seat display screen for visitors to choose and declare their luggage. When completing these steps, the counter will automatically print boarding passes for passengers.
After a few minutes of completing the check-in procedures for his flight, Mr. Kim Rihan, a South Korean tourist said, just a few steps, following the instructions of the machine, I completed the procedures and got a printed boarding pass immediately. This helps us shorten the time we have to wait in line, and wait for our turn to check-in as before. Thanks to this automatic self check-in kiosks, we have more time to rest while waiting to board the plane.
According to Mr. Do Trong Hau, the Deputy General Director of the Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the automatic check-in steps for visitors take about 2 -5 minutes to complete. If doing traditional procedures as previously, customers had to queue and wait for more than 15 minutes to complete.
In addition, the automatic check-in application aims to digitise the airport process, which contributes to reducing airport congestion during rush hours and saving time for air passengers.
In the coming time, the airport will continue to work with all airlines that operate at the Da Nang international terminal so as to continue to integrate data into the software and soon put it into the check-in system for passengers with the aim is to bring the most comfortable experience for visitors.
