Keo Pagoda hosts two festivals every year: the spring festival and the autumn festival, which are celebrated during the first and the ninth lunar months, respectively, and the latter is held for longer days with a larger scale.

The opening ceremony of this year’s festival will feature an art programme recalling the history and development of Keo Pagoda, over the past nine centuries.

The programme will attrach the participation of People’s Artist Thu Hien, singer Trong Tan, and artists from the Hanoi Cheo (Traditional Opera) Theatre, and the Military Music and Dance Theatre.

A fair will also be organised during the festival, introducing visitors to products meeting the standards of the One Commune – One Product programme in Thai Binh Province.
