Long An introduces many new tourism destinations

The tourism survey delegation connecting Ho Chi Minh City and provinces, cities in the Mekong Delta had a working trip to Long An on October 18. Joining the delegation were representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and over 40 travel and tourism companies. Welcoming and working with the delegation was Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - Nguyen Tan Quoc.

Tourists experience meditation at Ton Thanh Pagoda

At the beginning of the journey, the delegation visited Ton Thanh Pagoda, an ancient pagoda built in 1808. From 1859 to 1861, poet Nguyen Dinh Chieu stayed at here and composed the Can Giuoc Martyr's Liturgy. At the pagoda, visitors can experience 15 minutes of meditation to freshly start the journey. Bringing meditation experience to visitors is a new highlight of Long An tourism.

Another destination introduced to the delegation was Long An International Port, the seaport service complex in Tan Tap commune, Can Giuoc district, which represents the development of Can Giuoc district in particular and Long An province in general. Long An International Port is one of the destinations that can put industrial tourism services, a potential type of tourism in Long An, into operation.

The destinations Long An province chose to introduce are all new, with great potential for tourism development; At the same time, they show the strengths of Long An tourism at the present.
