(TITC) - “Ba Ria-Vung Tau Tourism Week 2023” will take place in November with many diverse activities, according to the announcement of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Department of Tourism on 27th October.

The Tourism Week will take place from 17th November to 23rd November 2023 at two locations: beach area of San Ho Xanh (Blue coral) – Bien Dong (East Sea) (Back Beach, Vung Tau City) and Ho Tram area, Xuyen Moc District.
The event aims to introduce, promote, stimulate tourism, and attract domestic and international tourists to the province, contributing to socio-economic development.
Ms. Tran Thu Hien, Deputy Director of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Provincial Department of Tourism said, the Organising Board hopes to introduce to domestic and international tourists the natural landscape, innovation and development of the province's tourism industry. Also on this occasion, the Department will encourage tourism businesses and tourism service establishments throughout the province to implement tourism stimulus programmes in the year-end period.
With the theme “LET’S GO!!! Ba Ria – Vung Tau”, the event includes food and beer spaces, an OCOP (One Commune One Product) fair, check-in activities, with models, sand statues, and miniature landscapes typical of the land of Ba Ria-Vung Tau; Unique and strange night running tournament "Vung Tau Discovery night run 2023", marine sports activities, kite festival… Besides, there are activities such as exhibition golf tournaments, running events, experiences, paragliding and other marine sports activities.
The Opening Ceremony will take place at 7.30 p.m on 17th November at Cot Co (Flagpole) Square area (Back Beach, Vung Tau City), the programme is broadcast live on Vietnam Television with the performances of famous Vietnamese singers and DJ.
