(TITC) - “Huế by light - The live show” in the Imperial Citadel in the former imperial city of Hue (the central province of Thua Thien Hue) will be a feast of special sound and light performance, a symbol of cultural exchange between Vietnam and France.
To close the series of activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between France and Vietnam, the French Embassy in Vietnam, the French Institute in Vietnam and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province will organise the program "Huế by light - The live show" at Ngo Mon Gate, Hue on 12th December 2023.

The show will perform unique musical works combining modern music and traditional Vietnamese musical instruments, along with a 3D mapping light show by artists, experts, and lighting technology from France.
Accordingly, the performance will see French artists use a projector system with a light intensity of 300,000 lumens to illuminate the ancient relic of Ngo Mon. Themed “Four seasons”, 2D and 3D visual effects synchronised with musical creations will immerse the audience in a unique light and sound performance party, blending symbols of French and Vietnamese culture.

Mr. Olivier Brochet, French Ambassador to Vietnam, said the relationship between France and Vietnam has had many positive changes over the past 50 years, gradually becoming important partners in many fields, especially culture and education. This large-scale public event is an opportunity for the two countries to look back on the past and think about the future. The French Ambassador also hopes that the art light show "Huế by light - The live show" will be a new milestone to bring the relationship between France and Thua Thien Hue Province further.
"Huế by light - The live show" is prepared over a year by the AC3 Studio team in the technical and creative fields to perform a light show on the architectural surface of Hue's Ngo Mon relic. With more than 10 years of experience, AC3 Studio's creations have reached hundreds of thousands of audiences in more than 40 countries around the world.
