In 2024, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center determines to focus on building high-class royal tourism products to serve tourists, especially night tourism products in the Hue Royal Place.
Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center Hoang Viet Trung said that this year, the unit focuses on developing products and services on the basis of promoting the value of Hue Monuments in the direction of improving class and quality, and better exploiting the specific advantages and values of the heritage.
The center also researched to strengthen products and services with unique identity and quality, forming high-end service chains to serve tourists such as organizing night shows in Kien Trung Palace; experiences of the Digital Cuisine Museum at Truong Sanh Palace; services and experiences at the Home Affairs Palace day and night; and eco tour at Gia Long King's Tomb.
During the Lunar New Year of Dragon 2024, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will open its doors to welcome tourists and people to visit Kien Trung Palace and Thai Hoa Palace.
Besides, there will be the Thuong Tieu program (building a new tree) at the Hue Royal Palace, on February 2 (December 23 of the Lunar calendar) and the Imperial Palace Tet program on February 3-4 (December 24-25 of the Lunar calendar),
On Lunar New Year's Eve as well as the first three days of Tet, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center will organize many performing arts activities to recreate the atmosphere of the first days of welcoming Tet of the ancient Nguyen Dynasty Royal Family.
In 2023, the total number of visitors to the Hue Monuments Complex - World Cultural Heritage reached more than 2.3 million visitors, including more than 1 million international visitors, with total revenue of nearly 356 billion VND./.
