Organic farming a hit with consumers and tourists

Tra Que village is famous for growing organic vegetables and their products are popular for those in Hoi An and Da Nang. The village is located in Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province.

Everyday, farmers here wake up very early to nurture and water their vegetables then harvest them. They do all these things within only a few hours in the mornings.

The village covers 18 hectares and has 131 families growing many kinds of vegetables such as onions, coriander, cabbage, climbing spinach, cinnamon, and more.

Vegetables here are organic and farmers don’t use any chemicals to protect them. The soil is fertilised using algae collected from rivers. The all natural process makes vegetables from Tra Que village are a top choice for consumers.

Additionally, international tourists are very interested in a special tour where they “Become a farmer for a day” in the village. Tourists have a chance to do the daily work of and see the life of a farmer.
