Hon Ba Nature Reserve: 5 camera traps positioned to collect wildlife data

Hon Ba Nature Reserve is installing 5 camera traps in areas with high biodiversity in the forest to collect more wildlife data.

The camera traps are to help the research agency to update the animal list and establish distribution maps of endemic and endangered species for effective protection.

Hon Ba Nature Reserve is known for its rich biodiversity of flora and fauna. In recent years, many new species of animals and plants here have been discovered and announced by scientists.

Hon Ba Nature Reserve has 420 species of fauna, including 40 species listed in the Vietnam Red Book and 76 species listed in the World Red Book of Endangered Species. There are more than 1,400 species of flora, including 58 species listed in the Vietnam Red Book and 55 listed in the World Red Book of Endangered Species.
