(TITC) - According to TimeOut - a global magazine published by Time Out Group, located in London, UK, visiting a country’s smaller towns and rural regions is the perfect way to get off the beaten path on holiday. These postcard-perfect spots are not only gorgeous to look at, but they also offer a chance to experience a different side to whichever country you’re visiting, and they’re mostly devoid of the crowds you’ll find in big cities.

TimeOut Magazine reported that, standing at no.14, Sa Pa is one of the 16 most beautiful small towns in the world along with Grindelwald (Switzerland), Alberobello (Italy) and Esperanza (Australia), and some others.

The magazine described the beauty of "foggy" Sa Pa with the scenery of majestic mountain views, green valleys and terraced fields. To get to Sa Pa, visitors can go by train or coach through steep mountain passes and winding, charming scenery. From the local town square, you can see Mount Fansipan, the highest mountain in Indochina, and the streets are filled with motorbikes, buffalo.
