With a very diverse landscape from the mountains and forests in the North to the tropical wetlands of the Mekong Delta, Vietnam offers different weather patterns across the country. And while the dry months are considered the best time to visit, it largely depends on the specific Vietnam destination you want to explore.
In Vietnam, the peak tourist season usually takes place from November to April and is an ideal time to explore the northern region, including Ha Noi, Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay.

Best time to visit Vietnam for great weather
As mentioned above, the best time to enjoy great weather is during the dry season, which usually lasts from November to April. During this time, areas such as Ha Noi, Sa Pa and Ha Long Bay in the North have clear blue skies and mild temperatures, making them ideal for outdoor activities such as trekking, exploring scenic spots and taking in breathtaking views.
Meanwhile, in the Central region of Vietnam, destinations such as Hue, Hoi An, and Da Nang have pleasant weather, ideal for beach activities and cultural exploration.
