Vietnam first joined the Earth Hour campaign in 2009 to cut greenhouse emissions by 8%. In Vietnam, the event is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Conveying the message ‘Save electricity - Become a habit’, the 2024 event attracted enthusiastic responses from 63 provinces and cities, with myriad activities taking place nationwide on the day, with the participation of people from all walks of life.
