(TITC) - Ha Noi Lotus Festival and the introduction of OCOP products associated with the culture of the Northern mountainous provinces will be held for the first time from 12th to 16th July 2024 at Tay Ho Cultural and Creative Space (Tay Ho district, Ha Noi).
The Ha Noi Lotus Festival aims to promote and honoring the beauty and cultural values of Ha Noi city in general and Tay Ho district in particular. The festival will introduce the unique values of lotus tea art making, the unique characteristics of lotus culture in Vietnamese life.
The festival opens at 8pm on 12th July. At the opening ceremony, the organizing committee will award prizes for the photo contest "Beauty, Ao dai and Lotus" and perform a semi-realistic art show "Story of the Lotus".
There will be 100 booths of OCOP products associated with the culture and cuisine of the Northern mountainous provinces. Key of even are the display area to introduce lotus products (lotus silk, lotus sweet soup, lotus sticky rice, lotus sausage, lotus dishes, lotus decorative products, lotus handicrafts) beside the area to experience lotus products (paintings, photos, lacquer, fabrics, poetry) and exhibition of some lotus varieties of Vietnam and Ha Noi...
Within the framework of the festival, Tay Ho district and related units will organize a Workshop on preserve and develop Vietnamese lotus flowers; Inauguration of OCOP product introduction and sales center in Tay Ho district - Trinh Street; Exhibition of lotus installation art space, exhibition of lotus photos in Vietnamese life; Famtrip "Upgrading service quality and connecting tourist destinations of Tay Ho district with travel businesses in Ha Noi city in 2024"; Music night "Trinh Cong Son and friends"...
In particular, on this occasion, Tay Ho district and functional units will organize the Green Journey Cycling Day themed "Tay Ho Lotus Color" with the participation of 7,000 people cycling around West Lake; The "Lotus of Love Connection" program…
