Vietnam has many famous routes and tourist attractions known to many tourists, but it is only a short distance from Ho Chi Minh City, about a 1-hour flight away, is an archipelago that possesses captivating wild beauty. Con Dao, located off the coast of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province, is one of the beautiful beach tourist destinations in Vietnam. This is also where Con Dao National Park is always covered with the green colour of nature, mountains, forests, and plants.
For those who love the sea and sand, don't hesitate to experience scuba diving to see coral reefs of many shapes and colours. Besides, visitors should not forget to walk along the beach, take souvenir photos, or immerse themselves in the cool, blue water. “One of my favourite places is the deserted sandy beaches of Hon Bay Canh, where sea turtles come to lay their eggs,” shared Grace Beard - Time Out's travel editor. She also suggests that visitors experience walking under the foliage of ancient trees in Ong Dung primaeval forest, or walking on the picturesque path to the top of Thanh Gia mountain. In addition, visitors can visit Con Dao Museum and Con Dao Prison Relic, which store artefacts and historical documents as well as learn about the heroic resistance of the Vietnamese people.
