The ancient town of Hoi An has also been recognized by the American publication Smoky Mountains as one of the safest and most worthwhile solo travel destinations in the world, with a crime rate of only 6.25%.
According to statistics, in the first six months of the year, Hoi An attracted over 2.38 million visitors, including nearly 2 million international tourists.
