Located in Son Hai Village, Luc Ngan District, Bac Giang Province, Cam Son Lake holds up to 248 million cubic meters of water, with an average surface area of around 2,650 hectares. During the rainy season, this can expand to over 3,000 hectares.

The lake is surrounded by towering mountains and lush green trees, which reflect beautifully on its calm water. Dotted with hundreds of islands, the lake is a sight to behold, especially with small boats gliding gracefully across its surface, as locals use them for transportation. The poetic beauty of Cam Son Lake inspired the Vietnamese composer Pho Duc Phuong to write the famous song “Ho tren nui” (Lake on the Mountain).
